Shigmo, one of the most prominent festivals, takes place in March or April. This vibrant spring celebration is marked by music, song, and dance. Once limited to village centers, the festivities have evolved into grand parades through town streets, attracting large crowds. As evening falls and the streets light up, a captivating float parade weaves its way through, delighting spectators with spectacular performances.
The rombat format of dance, colourful attire, historic and comic elements mixed with the celebrations culminate at the frenzied climax of holi.
