India Energy Week is a major global energy conference and exhibition under the patronage of India’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and dmg events.

It serves as a platform for global dialogue, partnership building, technology showcase, and investment discussions across the energy value chain — including oil & gas, renewable energy, clean fuels, hydrogen, LNG (liquefied natural gas), energy transition solutions, finance, and policy frameworks. It is attended by Global Energy Ministers, CEOs, policymakers, investors, industry leaders, from over 120 countries. There are over 75,000 participants, 700 + exhibitors and 550 + speakers expected at the event. 

  • The event is seen as a global platform for shaping the future of energy, where India positions itself as both a major energy consumer and a leader in the global transition toward sustainable energy.

    • Topics at IEW also include financial mechanisms, workforce development, energy infrastructure planning, and international cooperation.

    • 27–29 January: Exhibition & Conference sessions typically run from about 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day.

    • 30 January: Final day of sessions, usually ending around 5–6 PM.
